How to Make a Tall Centerpiece on a Budget

On April 7, 2012, in Flower Arranging Projects, by Lesley Charalambides

This Tall Centerpiece could be used for a dinner party or duplicated and used for a wedding. Follow the instructions to see how it is made. This is stage 2, add the outline of the shape using the major flowers, in this case silk gerbera daisies. To be sure they look natural, bend the stems slightly, nature is never quite straight!
Be sure to set the overall height of the arrangement with something inexpenisve, in this case Ive used a stem of curly willow, sprayed black. The deep colors adds depth to the arrangement.
If you look at a lot of tall centerpieces on the web, you'll see many rely on branches like willow, which are inexpensive, to get their height and bulk. Need to make a centerpiece on a budget? In this DIY project, we make a lovely tall centerpiece for a wedding or other event, using silk gerbera daisies and some colorful foliage. Total cost, around $25.
